Aisha McKnight-Baron, M.D.
Having a physician that is approachable, authentic, nurturing and meticulous are ideal goals for most patients. Dr. Aisha McKnight-Baron possesses those attributes and more. Dr. McKnight-Baron is a board certified African-American female plastic surgeon practicing in Kennesaw. Born to Jamaican immigrants in Boston, she eventually established Georgia as her home after moving there from Southern California at the age of 12. She is excited to be back in Georgia after being away for many years while training.
Dr. McKnight-Baron completed 6 years of training and received an unparalleled experience at one of the most challenging residency programs in plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She has gained thorough knowledge in all areas of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery while becoming highly skilled in microsurgical techniques as a result of her time spent at Texas Children’s Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center,
St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Hospital and the Methodist Institute for Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. McKnight-Baron provides services to male and female patients and specializes in facial rejuvenation, cosmetic breast and body contouring, reshaping the physique after massive weight loss and childbearing, as well as microsurgical (DIEP flap) breast reconstruction.

Dr. McKnight-Baron's academic achievements include certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and multiple peer reviewed articles and presentations to professional medical organizations. She has traveled abroad, studied the Latin American culture and is a conversational Spanish speaker.
She is also a cancer survivor and can relate personally to the physical and emotional effects that her patients often experience during and after a cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy. Being a patient herself, has imparted on her compassion and a unique perspective when it comes to caring for her patients and consistently doing what is right for them. Her patients and peers often describe her as very dedicated and fun-loving. Dr. McKnight-Baron's patients have a full understanding of their surgical options and know that she will go the extra mile to ensure that they are comfortable with her and at ease.
